Directions from the North
- Take A1 Southbound
- After crossing the river Tyne take the first slip road exit from the A1.
- Bear left at the roundabout off the slip road and follow A695 signs for Blaydon.
- Go straight over the next roundabout, heading for Scotswood Bridge, keeping in the right hand lane.
- Pass under Scotswood Bridge and immediately get into the left-hand lane. Take the first left after about 50 metres (signposted Derwenthaugh Marina/Factory Shops). The company CORUS is on the left.
- Take the next left which runs behind CORUS onto Tollbridge Road, and continue as far as possible, passing Johnson's of Chopwell and Burnt Tree on the right.
- Slaters Electricals are at the end of the cul de sac.
- Take A1 Northbound
- Pass Washington Services and the statue “Angel of the North”.
- Stay on the A1 and about 6 miles after the “Angel” you will see the Gateshead Metro Centre on the right hand side. Continue on the A1, taking the second slip road after the Metro Centre turn off, just as the A1 starts to bend right.
- Follow the road for Blaydon A695.
- Go straight over the next two roundabouts, following the A695. Immediately get into the right hand lane.
- Pass under Scotswood Bridge and immediately get into the left-hand lane. Take the first left after about 50 metres (sign posted Derwenthaugh Marina/Factory Shops). The company CORUS is on the left.
- Take the first left again, which runs behind CORUS (Toll Bridge Road), and continue as far as possible, passing Johnson's of Chopwell and Burnt Tree on the right.
- Slaters Electricals are at the end of the cul de sac.
