RV VCB
Slaters Electricals supplies the ‘RV’ range of MV vacuum circuit breakers which are suitable for a wide variety of MV distribution applications. The ‘RV’ vacuum circuit breaker has been designed utilising the vast experience of our organisation in the field of Medium Voltage switchgear and is fully ‘type tested’ and approved by ASTA BEAB and KEMA laboratories.
The VCB is suitable for fixed mounting and withdrawable applications and complies with the information below:-
- Fully compliant with the latest revision of IEC62271-100 standards
- Fully ASTA BEAB & KEMA type tested
- Partial discharge free at 12kV and meets the 10 pc @ 12.6 kV requirement
- Utilises the latest vacuum interrupter technology providing improved switching performance
- Conventional spring mechanism with a mechanical endurance in excess of 20,000 operations
- Designed to perform standard O-C-O duties as required by IEC-62271-100
- Spring charging, opening and closing operations can be electrically operated. In the absence of auxiliary power, the mechanism can be opened and closed manually
