Slaters Electricals design and supply a comprehensive range of DC battery supply units and associated monitoring systems. The Slaters DST range are for use in Industrial areas where the application of a DC supply in substations and switch rooms is required for the protection, tripping and closing of power distribution equipment.
The Slaters DST range are highly reliable and utilise maintenance-free nickel cadmium batteries, which give high discharge currents, long service life and freedom from the plate corrosion failures associated with some other battery types.
All units are available in a choice of 24V, 30V, 50V & 110 volt and are fitted with a charge fail alarm relay as standard. If required optional analysing and monitoring equipment including high alarms, low alarms, earth leakage alarms, charge failure alarms and general battery alarm monitors are also available.
The Slaters DST range of battery trip supply units are delivered with the batteries already fitted and connected which makes them quick and easy to install with only mains and output connections required upon installation.
All models are suitable for supplying intermittent tripping or closing loads within the peak current ratings specified. The facility to supply a continuous load in addition to the tripping load is also available from our comprehensive product range.
